Saskatchewan is known worldwide for its unbeatable quality of Trophy whitetail hunting. We are truly excited to share this legendary quality with our hunters, and share in their hunting experiences here at True North.
The True North Trophy Ranch consists mainly of boreal forest. Poplar, spruce and willow trees cover eighty percent of our 900+ acre ranch, with the rest consisting of 5 to 70 acre open fields. These open fields offer our hunters the chance to stretch their rifle barrels if they so desire. There are also stands and bait stations placed throughout the property. This combination offers a scenic and challenging setting for your hunt.
The giant Trophy Bucks on our ranch range in score from 150 gross B&C to 215 gross B&C. The whitetail genetics at True North are continuously added from the most premium typical and non typical blood lines in North America. Heavy mass,long tines,big frames, and large bodies. Everything you would expect from your Saskatchewan whitetail.
On the mornings of your hunt our professional guides will transport you from the lodge to the hunt area. Stands are then accessed by four wheelers and yamaha rhino's. You will hunt over bait piles from our comfortable heated stands. Shots at these sites range from 100 to 150 yards. You will see many different bucks and does come and go over the course of your hunt offering different shot opportunities. Once you have completed your hunt, and your Saskatchewan Giant is on the ground. You can radio your guide alerting him of your success.
Once you have completed the hunting portion of your stay, your guide will attend to the skinning, capeing, and meat preparation of your animal. We will package, freeze, and prepare your trophy for its journey home to your awaiting taxidermist.

Deer hunts start in October and run through to the end of December, with October 15th to December 15th being the prime times. Our rut takes place in mid November.
